Comments:

• Construction of the funnel is shown in pictures No.40 and No.41. Note formers extending from the base of the funnel that fit into the cutouts in the deck.
• Pictures No.44 and No.45 illustrate assembly of the gun directors. Note additional tabs which I’ve installed to help me correctly assemble this part.
   

Armament and boats
 

Comments:

• Parts 166a and 166b can be discarded if you plan to install blast covers on main gun barrels.
• In picture No.50, note the way parts 168a are thickened by laminating on 1mm cardboard. There is a small “overhang” of part 166b over underlying carboard. The idea is to make this prtion of the part easier to wrap around cardboard to create the final shape of the part.
